Down Time

Most days I start out waking up, putting on a pot of coffee, and finding something for breakfast.
I watch TV, go for a walk, read, and then figure out what I'll have for lunch.
After lunch, I'll do something similar to what I mentioned earlier, and then start supper.
When Ryan gets home I'm chipper and happy to see him with a nice dinner & energy bottled up from being a bum the whole day. He, on the other hand, is wore out from a 8-10 hour day in the heat and not so ready for all the afternoon adventures I have planned.
We usually eat, take a short walk, and end up on the couch the rest of the night.

That, my friends, has been my life since I have been out of school. Thank God for my best friends and parents, who are always so sweet to greet me on my frequent visits to their house during the week. Without them, I would probably go insane sitting in my little white house on the farm, eating, talking to my dogs, and watching things like Dr. Oz and The Doctors.

And as nice as this break has been from the hectic life I had gotten so used to, I am more than excited to announce:

I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am now an employee of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center as an RN! I start (hopefully) sometime next week. I will be working on 1st Floor, which is a MedSurg floor. It's actually the one I did my clinicals and preceptorship on, so I feel very comfortable there! What a blessing! Another major blessing is that I got on PART TIME.. only two 12 hour shifts a week, so I can have the other days to be a FULL TIME Mommy :) Everything has worked out perfectly... my only worry is that it's night shift and I really hope that I can adjust and stay awake! I think I will be able to, especially since that means once Gage is here I will only be gone two nights a week when he is sleeping :)

Funny thing, I had been so stressed about it- and would ya know, TWO days after I sat down at my quiet time and totally poured out to God my heart about how I was worried and stressed about finding a job, I got the call with the job offer! If I'd only learn to start giving it to God sooner!

So yes, I am very excited to start working and making some mu-lah. Not to mention to make me feel semi-useful again! I have been SUCH a BUM these last few weeks! :) :) Oh well, it's been fun! In 4 short months I will have my hands full with my baby boy, so I'm going to enjoy this down time while I can!

Happy Tuesday!!!
